Insurance distributors
The Central Bank of Iceland maintains a register of insurance brokers who are licensed to distribute insurance in Iceland, as well as insurance agents and parties who distribute insurance as a by-product in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 15 of Act no. 62/2019 on the Distribution of Insurance.
Any changes to the register shall be notified to the Central Bank as soon as possible and no later than one month after they have entered into force, in accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 15 of Act no. 62/2019.
