Electronic delivery of lists on insiders
On November 27th nearly 40 compliance officers and computer specialists from issuers of securities listed on the Iceland Stock Exchange (ICEX) attended a seminar at the FME on a new application on submission of insider lists. During the past months, FME has been developing a new application where all registration and management of insider lists will be managed electronically, through access from the FME website. The application will be operational December 4th 2006 for parties with listed equity securities and on 1 January for parties with listed debt securities.
The implementation of this new application is a part of the FME IT strategy which main objective is to utilize information technology in collection and analysis of data. The FME collects approximately 3500 reports each year from parties subject to supervision in Iceland
