The Market Abuse Directive – draft proposal
The Financial Supervisory Authority in Iceland (FME) has participated in the work of the Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR), which recently launched for public consultation the 2nd set of draft guidance on the operation of the Market Abuse Directive, 2003/6/EC(MAD). The FME has notified market participants in Iceland about the draft proposal and encouraged them to post their comments directly on CESR’s website.
